Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jan Lunze ist Leiter des Lehrstuhls für Automatisierungstechnik und Prozessinformatik der Ruhr-Universität Bochum. Er forscht und lehrt seit über dreißig Jahren auf dem Gebiet der Regelungstechnik, in letzter Zeit vor allem zu Themen der digital vernetzten Regelungen. Seine Erfahrungen mit Industrieprojekten gehen als Beispiele in seine anwendungsorientiert geschriebenen Lehrbücher zur Systemtheorie, Regelungstechnik und Automatisierungstechnik ein.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jan Lunze is the head of the Institute of Automation and Computer Control at Ruhr University Bochum, Germany. He has been active in education and research in the field of control theory for more than thirty years, in particular, in the area of networked control systems. His experiences with projects from industry appear as illustrating examples in his application-oriented textbooks on systems theory, control theory and automation.
